BRITISH CABINET
DECISIONS ANNOUNCED STATEMENTS TO BOTH HOUSES ON THURSDAY. MINISTERS CONFERRING. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 10.30 a.m.) RUGBY. April 10. Following on this morning’s Cabinet meeting it was announced in the afternoon that both houses of Parliament have been summoned to meet on Thursday afternoon, when statements will be made by Mr Chamberlain in the House of Commons and Viscount Halifax in the House of Lords. The cabinet meeting lasted 2‘ hours and was attended by all members except Viscount Runciman, who is on a health sea voyage, and Mr Malcolm MacDonald, who is on a health trip to the south of France. The Cabinet meeting was followed by a meeting of ministers in the afternoon. which lasted for 11 hours. It is understood that the full Cabinet will meet again on Thursday, before the re-assembly of Parliament, which it is assumed, will adiourn after ri’«cussing Ministers’ statements, until April 18. a date previously when Mr G R. Attlee call.ed on Mr Chamberlain. ■
