The British Ambassador, Sir Sydney Waterlow interviewed the Prime Minister, General J. Metaxas, who later issued a statement declaring that' Greece’s integrity is absolutely assured and that the Government is ceaselessly watchful to preserve her security and honour. BRITISH WARSHIPS DEPARTURE FROM ITALIAN PORTS. DESTINATIONS NOT STATED. (Received This Dav, 10.10 a.rn.) LONDON, April 10. All British ships of the Mediterranean Fleet have left Italian ports. Their destinations are not disclosed, PARLIAMENT TO MEET ASSEMBLING ON THURSDAY. MR CHAMBERLAIN CONFERS WITH MR ATTLEE. (Received This Day, 10.10 a.m.) LONDON. April 10. It is officially announced mat Parliament has been recalled to meet next Thursday. The Prime Minister, Mr Neville Chamberlain, conferred with the Labour Leader, Mr C. R. Attlee, for 45 minutes.
