GUN BESIDE BODY. ‘By Telegraph—Press Association 1 HASTINGS. April 10. Investigating a call from a woman resident of Gordon Road, Hastings, who stated that a dead man was lying outside her gate, the Hastings police discovered the body of Mr Robert Kerr, aged 40, a teamster employed by the Rivers Board. A double-barrelled shotgun with one barrel discharged was found beside the body, the charge having entered the mouth and blown away the back of the bead.
