GRASS FIRE
OUTBREAK IN SOUTH ROAD. The Masterton Fire Brigade was called out at 3.28 p.m. yesterday to a grass fire at No. 27 South Road, a property occupied by Mr E. Allsworth. Besides a quantity of grass, a large dog kennel and portion of a pine hedge were burnt. The brigade quickly extinguished the flames by means of the first aid outfit.
