Fifty-two apfi-British associations have been formed in Japanese-con-trolled areas in Central China with fifteen thousand adherents. The Nanking Government has joined up. The Press annpunpes a boycott of British goods. The Chinese have closed thp treaty port of Ningpo, seriously hampering British shipping.
