CRIPPLED CHILDREN

ACTIVITIES OF WAIRARAPA SOCIETY. At a meeting pf the executive of 'he Wairarapa branch of the Crippled Children Society held this week, it was reported that a correspondence course in typing had been arranged for a crippled boy, while arrangements for the teaching of basket-making had been made for another two cases. A bedboot has been made for a yopng girl Books and materials fpr dressmaking had been supplied for various children attending Technical School classes. A youth who had recently received operative treatment for club feet had now returned home and was making good progress. An invalid chair has been lent to him for use during convalescence. Advice has been received that a girl who is having treatment in Wellington is making good progress and may be able to return homo shortly.
