REMOUNT SCHEME
APPLICATION. FOR STALLION. By an advertisement in this issue applications are called for the services of a stallion for next season under the Government’s remount scheme. The stallion will receive a subsidy and applications should be made by owners to the secretary of the local Remount Committee, Mr N. H. James. Kiosk, the stallion chosen for the district last year, had a most successful season and was the only horse in New Zealand under the scheme to secure a full book. More applications for service, in fact, were received than could be dealt with.
