RUGBY CONTROL
WAIRARAPA MANAGEMENT 'COMMITTEE. MR H. A. McPHEE RE-ELECTED CHAIRMAN. ("Times-Age” Special.) At a meeting of the management committee of the Wairarapa Rugby Union, held at the conclusion of the annual meeting on Saturday night, Mr H. A. McPhee was re-elected chairman. It was decided to nominate Mr E. McKenzie as a member of the North Island selection committee, and as sole New Zealand selector. Regarding a complaint made at the annual meeting that the third grade competition closed too early last year, it was stated that there were eight teams in the competition, which closed on August 13. The senior grade competition closed on July 30. Nominations for all teams for the competitions will close on April 13, the date of the next meeting of the committee.
