GRASS FIRE
OUTBREAK AT LANSDOWNE TODAY. Fire swept through a large area of long grass on the hockey ground near the Masterton Hospital this afternoon. Good work by the Masterton Fire Brigade finally checked the outbreak after the flames had burnt right up the the hospital fence.
