NEW CONCERT PARTY

TO AID AT BENEFITS. At a meeting held in Masterton on Wednesday a strong committee was formed for the purpose of carrying out entertainments in the Wairarapa for benefit purposes. A concert party was formed to be called the Wairarapa Health Camp Concert Party and is to conduct socials and dances in aid of children’s health camps, crippled children, Homes, hospitals, etc. It was stated that many local singers, etc., had offered their services free of charge.

The following officers were elected: President, Mr Leo Chung; join secretaries, Messrs. A. E. Miller and E. Morris; treasurer, Mr E. Morris; committee, Messrs. Leo Chung. A. E. Miller, E. Morris, J. Marshall, J. Chapman, E. Graham, J. Karatiana; Ladies’ Committee, Mesdames Foster, Marshall, Miller. Graham and Chung; musical director, Mr. J. Chapman; programme committee. Messrs. A. E. Miller and J. Karatiana and Mrs Marshall.
