HOSPITAL CLASS

TEACHER TO BE APPOINTED FOR MASTERTON.

DEPARTMENT'S DECISION.

Advice has been received by Mr W. R. Nicol, of Masterton, a member of the Wellington Education Board, to the effect that the Department had agreed to the appointment of an additional assistant to the staff of the Lansdowne school for the purpose of conducting a class for children in the Masterton Hospital.. In the event of the number of children in the hospital class not warranting the full-time series of the additional assistant, she will spend the remainder of her time in duties at the Lansdowne School.

The decision to make the appointment follows on representations which have been made for a considerable time past for such an appointment.
