BRONZE SICKLE
FORTY CENTURIES OLD. A bronze sickle, estimated to be forty centuries old, has been found in the river Yonne, in France, a little below Villeperot. The blade is circular, but supple at its extremity. One side is grooved, the other smooth. This is the first complete ancient bronze sickle found, and it has been deposited in the museum of Auxerre.
