CHINESE STILL HOLD WUNING
FIERCE FIGHTING IN PROGRESS.
JAPANESE ENTER NANCHANG.
By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received This Day, 12.50 p.m.) CHUNGKING, March 30. The military claim that the Chinese still hold Wuning. Fierce fighting is in progress five miles north-east of the city.
The Chinese admit that the Japanese have entered Nanchang but the rearguard is holdipg out. The Chinese in the Hunan Province have surrounded Sinyang.
