HARRIER ACTIVITIES
MASTERTON CLUB NOTES.
A committee meeting of the Masterton Harrier Club was held last night there being present Messrs Bell, Long, Gully, Wright and W. A. C. Pullar. Mr R. Bell was appointed social secretary and Messrs Long and Sellar delegates to the Wairarapa Sub-centre. Messrs Bell, Gully and Wright to form the club’s executive.
It was decided to obtain new singlets and badges. A training committee (Messrs Gully, Pullar and C. K. Long) was appointed to supervise training activities for the coming season.
Unofficial training runs will be held by members of the Masterton Harrier Club commencing on April 1 leaving from the Park Oval. All intending members are requested to take this opportunity of meeting club members and to start preliminary training. An opportunity for those who believe in keeping fit offers, when on Monday and Wednesday next training walks are to be held until further notice, leaving the Y.M.C.A. rooms at 7 p.m. The club invites members of any sports bodies to make use of these walks as a means to physical fitness for their season's sport.
