FORESTERS’ LODGE.

("Times-Age” Special.)

Bro. ,C. H. Seymour, C.R., presided over the quarterly meeting of Court Kopuaranga, held in the lodge room, Mauriceville West. There was a good attendance of members.

Three members were reported on the sick fund.

Bro. C. H. Seymour was appointed delegate to the annual meeting of the district committee to be held in Wellington this week: It was decided to revert to monthly meetings during the winter and the next meeting will be held on Saturday, April 29, at 7.30 p.m. A proposal to publish" a 'magazine pertaining to the activities of the Foresters in the Wairarapa received the hearty support of the members. Tennis.

The Mauriceville Tennis Club has completed its championship finals, the winners being Miss A. McGovern and F. Morrell. To mark the close of the season a dance will be held on Easter Saturday when the prizes won during the season will be presented. Te Tau’s Orchestra will be in attendance.

A Brighter Mauriceville.

Painters are busily engaged on the Dairy Company and ■ the Railway buildings. An attractive colour scheme of cream with green and red' facings and roofs of aluminium has been adopted by the Dairy Company. When both works are completed it will add greatly to the brightness of Mauriceville’s business centre.
