LADIES’ HOCKEY
EXCELSIOR CLUB ANNUAL MEETING.
SENIOR & JUNIOR TEAMS.
The seventh annual meeting of the Excelsior Hockey Club was held in the Y.M.C.A. last night. Mr W. Harding presided over a large attendance of members. A motion of sympathy was passed with the relatives of the late Mr J. H. Hill, former patron of the club, members standing in silence as a mark of respect. The following officers were elected for the ensuing year: —Patron, Mr L. B. Maunsell; president, Mr. W. Harding: vice-presidents, Messrs A. : Southey. A. R. Green. H. C. Beiliss, F. Lambert, F. Stains, J. Barnes, F. Mad- ' sen. G. Hayne, J. Wing, R. Ward, N. G. Rayner, McDonald, W. A. Russell, Mrs W. Harding; secretary and treasurer, Miss J. Harding; committee, Misses E. Barnes, R. Stuart, R. Green, N. Southey, R. Harding, R. Stains, V. Russell, Messrs A. Southey and F. Madsen; auditor, Mrs N. Southey; delegates to association, Messrs W. Harding and F. Madsen; club captain, Mrs N. Southey; coach, Mr W. Harding. It was decided to leave the subscriptions the same as last year. Two teams are to be entered in the competitions, one senior and one junior. Several new members were elected. Practices are to start next Saturday and then every Tuesday and Thursday mornings.
