WOMEN’S INSTITUTE

DANCE AT PARKVALE. (“Times-Age" Special.) A dance was held at Parkvale last evening by the Parkvale Women’s Institute. Music was supplied by Mrs V. J. Ashton and Mr G. Udy. There was a large attendance. Extras were played by Miss Mary Herrick. Mr Vin. Ashton was M.C. A dainty supper was provided under the supervision of the Women’s Institute. Novelty dances were won as follows: —Monte Carlo. Miss Zena Smith and Mr Roy Knowles; lucky spot waltz, Miss Jean Harris and Mr William Adams; statue La Rinka, Miss Molly Adlam and Mr M. Knutson. The funds of the Institute will be considerably augmented by last night’s function.
