SUCCESSFUL DANCE

HUGO AND SHEARER’S STAFF. GATHERING. MASONIC HALL CROWDED. The Masonic Hall was crowded last night on the occasion of Hugo and Shearer’s girls’ inter-house team’s dance. The dance was ably organised by Mr A. Payne and the joint secretaries, Misses G. Bacon and B. Vincent, and was an outstanding success both socially and financially. The hall was. artistically decorated and excellent music was supplied by Udy’s orchestra. Mr D. Costello was a capable M.C. and a most enjoyable supper was provided by members of the staff, who spared no pains to ensure the success of the dance and the enjoyment of patrons.
