4, MAURICEVILLE WEST-MEETING. ■MRS A. • LARSEN RE-ELECTED PRESIDENT. At the home Of Mrs Adolph Larsen at Mauriceville'West, a very enjoyable meeting .of the British and Foreign Bible Society was recently held. The ’ Organising Secretary for the Wellington Province, Mrs Violet Wakelin, who is making her way through the Wairarapa District, Was the speaker for the afternoon,' and interested her hearers with an a'ccbunt of the Work- of the Society in foreign countries. At 'the close of her talk, Mrs Wakelin thanked her collectors for their efforts,-and'Mrs 1 Larsen for her wofk during the year, and the hospitality she sb kiridly"extended; It was gratis tying to realise that in a scattered dis r trict, friends of the'movement ' should make it convenient to attend a meeting held a long distrihee from their homes. Mrs A. Larsen Was re-elected President and Secretary 'for the coming year. The annual collection will be made in'June, arid it is hoped the youthful collectors, will receive even more support than in previous years.
