Miss Barbara Barton, who has been visiting Feilding for the polo tournament, has returned to Masterton. Mrs. Kemble Welch, "Of Karori, is staying with : Mrs W. James, Upper Plain. Miss R. Batt, of Nelson, is the guest of Mrs. E. J. Coleman, Woi’ksOp Road, Masterton. Mrs. W. L. Hunter, Coradine Street, Masterton, has -as -her guest, Miss A. Allan, of-Wellington. Miss Eva Yeorhan, of Kaw’riia hospitaT staff, is spending ; a' few days at her ■' home, “Ngarata,” Rakanui. Misses R. arid M. McDonald, of Pdngaroa, have returned from a short visit to Palmerston North. ■Mr and Mrs Satherley and Mrs P. R. Kent, of Pongaroa, were visitors to Feilding during the weekend. Mrs Shaw has returned to Feilding after spending the summer months with Mr and Mrs R. C. Satherley, of Pongarba. Miss Mildred Boyd, Pahiatua, is spending a' few days with Mrs KentJohnston, Third Street, Lansdowne, before visitirig Wellington. I Miss M. J. Ross, M.A., who has recently been teaching -at 'Lansdowne School, has behn appoihted head teacher at’the Tihui School.
