Peace Will Soon Be Restored in Spain HOPES OF ENDING FURTHER RESISTANCE (Received This Day, 9.0 a.m.) ROME, March 28. A statement from the household of ex-King Alfonso states that his Majesty is' pleased with the surrender of Madrid, which signifies that peace soon will be restored in Spain. He hopes to eliminate all •resistance to General Franco, sparing the people from further bloodshed and suffering.
