EKETAHUNA v MASTERTON.

Four rinks, from the Eketahuna Bowling Club, visited Masterton, and after an enjoyable game, the local players won by three games to one. The details are given below, Masterton Club teams being mentioned first: I. Watson, W. Lewis, F. Percy, H. Morton (s) 31 beat F. Green, Richardson, Rogers, Simpson (s) 25; Davey, F. Haycraft. Bannister, Carstens (s) 28 beat Tolley, A. Herbert, Payne, Fredrickson (s) 18; Trevarrow, Thurston, Chapman. E. Reid (s) 14. lost to W. Green, Stone. Amundsen, Hooper (s) 31: Vowell, Latimer, A. Stubbings, Finlayson (s) 32 beat Ramsey, M. Herbert. Fraser, Hornblow (s) 24.
MASTERTON v PARK.
On Saturday last friendly games were played between the Park and Masterton clubs. The matches were most enjoyable and the result was a tie. The particulars are as follows, Park players being mentioned first: Frost, Dixon, Brown, J. Shearer (s) 17 lost to W. Lewis, E. Holtham, Carstens, C. Perry (s) 27; Drummond, Burke, Roff. Carr (s) 26 beat A. Hendry, Malmo, Mills, Hunter (s) 15; Fenton, Jenkins, Spacktnan, Thompson (s) 17 lost to Trevarrow, Thomas, Stubbings, J. Finlayson (s) 30; Emmerson, Wall, Gibson, Southey (s) 21 beat Watson, Russell, Chapman, Roberts (s) 15. WALL CUP. In a challenge match for the Wall Cup, which was presented for competion among the juniors, the Park team beat Masterton by 19 points to 14. Taylor, Ferguson, Leigh. Smith (s) represented the Park and McKay. Guthrie-Smith, Gleeson, Gordon (s) played for Masterton. MUTRIE CUP. ' A challenge match for the Mutrie Cup was played on the Masterton Club’s green yesterday afternoon -and after an enjoyable game the holders, D. Thompson and E. Reid (s), of the Masterton Club, retained the cup against the challengers, Gibson and Southey (s) of the Park Club. At the sth head, the scores were, Masterton 3, Park 4, but on the 10th head, Masterton had gained a lead of 2 points, Masterton 9, Park 7.
Masterton increased its lead on the next four heads and on the 14th head the score board showed Masterton 16, Park 9.
On the 18th head the scores were, Masterton 18, Park 11, and on the last head the final scores were Masterton 21, Park 12.
