RIFLE SHOOTING

TRIANGULAR MATCH. WIN FOR TARARUA TEAM. (“Times-Age” Special.) The final triangular match for the season was fired on the Kaiparoro range on Saturday and resulted in the Tararua team winning the Bush Cup for this season. The Kebbell Cup for the highest score over the three matches was won by Rifleman C. Rasmussen (296) with Rfm H. Percy (294) runner-up. Several possibles were recorded during the day, and but for misty rain which made visibility very bad at 600 yards some very high .scores might have been registered. Scores:—

B. GRADE CUP. WON BY TARARUA. The final B grade triangular match was fired on the Alfredton range on Saturday. Although the Alfredton team had a lead of 10 points in the previous matches Tararua had an easy win. Rifleman D. Johansen won the Edmonds Rose Bowl for highest individual aggregate over the three matches. The best score of the day was a good 101 made by Rfm W. Manser. Scores:—
