BOWLING. (“Times-Age” Special.) The challenges for the Wairarapa Bowling Centre trophies have to be in the hands of the secretary before April 1. Last,year these trophies were held by Greytown players through the winter. In the past season the trophies were well competed for, and the clubs in the southern part of the district have had some splendid games. However, after a tour of the district the trophies are all back in Greytown. Diggers’ Market. One of the big attractions for Diggers’ Market at Greytown next month will be the tug-of-war contest. Already several institutions have under consideration the entering of teams.
