Mrs E. Hodder, of Kimbolton, is visiting Kahutara. Mrs. G. F. Hill, Masterton, has left to take up her residence in Wellington.

Mrs Andrew Hornblow, who has been visiting Masterton, returned to Wellington today. Mrs P. C. Carroll, of New Plymouth, who has been the guest of her sisters, Misses Anderson, of Eketahuna, returned home today. Mrs H. Dunstone, of Wanganui, who has been visiting Eketahuna as the guest of Mrs J. Nilsson, has left for Wellington. She will later return to Eketahuna. Miss Zeta McPherson and Miss Betty Turner, Mastercon, wiio are spending a holiday at the Sounds, left for Christchurch today to spend a few days there before returning home. The committee of the Weraiti Company of the Masterton Girl Guides held a farewell party at the home of Mrs. Gaskin to say good-bye to Mrs G. F. Hill, who has taken an interest in the Guides and Brownies for many years. The presentation of a crystal rosebowl on behalf of the committee was made by Mrs J. H. Irving, president of the executive, and as a parting gift the Brownies gave Mi’s Hill a crystal powder bowl. Among those present were Mesdames Stewart, J. H. Irving,. J. Aikman, Corskie, Thomas, L.
