OPAKI FOOTBALL CLUB

ANNUAL MEETING. (“Times-Age" Special.) The Opaki Football Club held iff annual meeting when Mr A. Campbell presided over a fair number of players. The report and balance sheAi were adopted. A credit balance of £5 whs shown. Mr L. Matthews was re-elected patron, and Mr D. McT.auchlan, president. All old vice-presidents were reelected. Mr Welch was appointed secretary; the position of treasurer was held over, and also that of coach, and general committee.

A practice will be held on April 2, and the secretary was instructed to write and invite the Nireaha football club to play a friendly game on Good Friday nt Mauriceville. Mr A. Campbell and M. Welch wore appointed delegates to the Wairarapa Rugby Union meeting.

Votes of thanks were passed to the donors of the trophies and to the chairman.
