WILTED FLOWERS

HOW TO REVIVE THEM. During the hot, dry weather such as we have experienced for so long, cut flowers wilt readily, and rosebuds in particular are inclined to droop in the vases instead of standing erect as they should.

Lay the buds straight out on a sheet of newspaper and mil them up. Then place them in water that reaches to their necks and leave them in a dark, cool place for a couple of hours. This will straighten the stems, and the flowers will drink in sufficient water to make them last for a considerable time.
