The following are results so far: — Wellington beat Wanganui 1273. Canterbury beat Wairarapa 16/2. Canterbury beat Auckland 6/4. Wairarapa showed good form for inexperienced players. Many old players were pitted against them led by overseas men. Wairarapa batting was weak against fast pitches but their fielding was quite good. Light rain is falling. The afternoon matches will be: Wairarapa versus Wanganui; Canterbury versus Wellington.
