W.E.A.
STUDY GROUPS FORMED. At a meeting of the W.E.A. Committee on Wednesday evening, it was decided to form several study groups for the winter. . Number I Group was formed at the meeting and the course chosen for study is “N.Z. Today and Tomorrow,” in place of the usual international problems, as with the latter it would be impossible to produce a course that would not become obsolete in a very short time, on account of the rapid changes taking place in world affairs today. The lecturer, Mr Hely, who has been addressing representatives from all the women’s organisations on the Pan-Pacific Conference in the afternoon advised that He would deliver a public address in Masterton next Wednesday on “The International Situation Since' Munich.” Mr Hely is not only an engaging speaker but one who has a thorough grip of his subject which is made intensely interesting through the exchange of questions and* discussion which is freely encouraged. No charge will be made, for admission ,but a collection will be taken up to defray expenses. ,
