ACTIVE COMPETITION
AT LONDON WOOL SALES. BULK CLEARED AT STEADY RATES By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received This Day, 11.50 a.m.) LONDON, March 23. At the London wool sales 9162 bales were offered, including 4350 New Zealand bales, and of which 7770 were sold.
A good selection met with active competition and the bulk of the offering was cleared at steady rates. The Bradford market is quieter and new business is very restricted owing to the political unsettlement.
