PERSONAL ITEMS.

(“Times-Age” Special.) -

Mr Hesse, Inspector of Agriculture for the Wellington Education Board, is at present visiting Martinborough.

Mr and Mrs Douglas Lamb have returned from a holiday spent in the South Island. School Baths.

A meeting of the Baths Committee was held in the school on Monday night, there being present Mesdames Burch, Chapman, Lawrence, Wright, Caseley, Misses Alpe and Smith. Messrs. Boyd, Pryor, Simpson, McGillicuddy, McCardle, Ussher, McAlpine and C'. Johns.

It was decided to write to the Public Works Department for a plan for a filtration bath. It was also decided to ask Mr B. Roberts, M.P., to co-operate in the matter. To raise funds it was decided to hold an art union and if necessary a queen carnival. Miss Hibberd was elected treasurer.
