FORTNIGHTLY MASTERTON SITTING. BREACHES OF WATER RESTRICTIONS. Mr H. P. Lawry, S.M., presided at the fortnightly sitting of the Masterton Magistrate’s Court, held today. Breaches of the borough hosing regulations cost the following the amounts stated: H. H. Liddle, 10s costs and solicitor's fee 10s 6d; Arthur Luscombe, £l, 10s costs and solicitors tee 10s 6d; F. R. Ball, £l. costs 10s and solicitor’s fee 10s Cd; J. F. Catherall, £l, 10s costs and solicitor’s fee 10s 6d; F. Clarke, £l, 10s costs and solicitor's fee 10s 6d; A. Gray 10s costs and solicitor’s fee 10s 6d; V. Hansen, £l, 10s costs and solicitor’s fee 10s 6d; James Oliver, 10s. costs 10s and solicitor’s fee 10s 6d; N. H. Prior, £l, 10s costs and solicitor’s fee 10s 6d; J. M. Shields £l, 10s costs and' solicitor's fee 10s 6d; A. J. Spratt 10s, 10s costs and solicitor’ • fee 10s 6d; E. M. Tregurtha, 10s, 10s costs and solicitor’s fee 10s 6d. For having allowed stock to wander Thomas Carroll was fined £l, 12s costs and solicitor's fee 10s 6d. On similar charges R. H. Simpson was fined £l, 11s costs and solicitor’s fees 10s 6d and T. T. Sutherland was fined 10s. Ils costs and solicitor's fee 10s 6d. Clarence Patrick Ward was fined £2 10s and 10s costs for having no radio licence.

For failing to produce, a driver's licence a motor-cyclist, Lewis Anstiss. was fined £1 and 10s costs.

Robert King was fined 5s and 10s costs for a breach of the parking regulations. For not having carried warrants of fitness the following wore fined the amounts stated: B. McGuinness. 10s and 10s costs: Colin Paton £1 and 12s costs; J. K. Wilson. £1 and 12s costs; E. Wingate 10s and 10s costs.
