CALEDONIAN SOCIETY

MEETING OF DIRECTORS. FORMATION OF PIPE BAND SUGGESTED. Mr J. B. Mac Lean (president) occupied the chair at a meeting of directors of the Wairarapa Caledonian Society. The secretary presented an audited statement of accounts for the year. The resignation of Mr P. C. McLaren, a director of the society, was accepted with r, egret and appreciation of his services to the society over a long period of years was recorded. The resignation of the secretary, Mr W. V. Madden, was also accepted with regret. It was decided that the question of the formation of a Wairarapa Caledonian Society Pipe Band should be discussed at the annual meeting, which was to be neld on Tuesday, April 18.
