Proposals for Return Said to Have Been Made

(Received This Day, 10.5 a.m.) KAUNAS, March 21

An emergency meeting of the Diet was summoned by telephone. The sitting lasted for over two hours. There has been no announcement as to the result but proposals are reported to have been submitted for the return of Memel to Germany.

It stated that the return will be settled between Herr von Ribbentrop and the Lithuanian Minister to Berlin.
