FARMERS’ UNION DECISION. Reference was jnade at yesterday’s meeting of the Provincial Executive of the Farmers’ Union to a recent. Court case when a Masterton farmer was convicted for operating an unlicenced farm tractor along a few chains of main highway. After a brief discussion jt was decided to ask the head office of the Union for an interpretation of the Act and that if it were found that the Magistrate’s interpretation was correct, then to demand legislation absolving farm tractors from everything but third party risk.
