McKay, Otaki, were weekend visitors of Mr and Miss Card, Featherston. Mrs L. Brooks, of Palmerston North, and formerly of Masterton, is spending a few days in Masterton. Mr and Mrs E. J. Bassett, of Essex Street, Masterton, are spending a holiday at Paraparaumu. Mrs Patchett, senr., who for many years has been living in Christchurch is the guest of Mr and Mrs A. J. Patchett, Masterton Road, Pahiatua.
