ST. JOHN AMBULANCE
CADET DIVISION.
AN ENJOYABLE DANCE. With streamers of black and white, the Association’s colours, decorating the walls and ceiling of the Mastic Hall on Saturday night, interspeWed with the motifs of the association, a very large number of young people thoroughly enjoyed the Cadet Division’s dance. 1 With the master of ceremonies’ duties ably handled by Mr Pat Ward and Jack Barnes’ Rhythm Boys supplying the music an exceedingly enjoyable evening was spent. The winners of the lucky spot onestep were Miss C. Mortenson and partner; and the .prize in the. Monte Carlo waltz went to Miss E. Curtin and Mr E. Spackman. Extras were played by Mr Te Tau and Mr Gray Hunter. To all those who so willingly gave their services towards making the function the success it was and especially to the hard working secretary, Mr A. V. Dean, the Division extends its grateful thanks.
Mr C. S. McQuade, Cadet Superintendent, in a few words, thanked those present for their attendance and their support of a worthy cause. He mentioned that the division hoped to conduct a series of dances during the coming dancing season.
