NEW ZEALAND CONFERENCE. ATTENDANCE OF SIR M. HANKEY SUGGESTED. (Independent Cable Service.) (Received This Day, 10.45 a.m.) LONDON, March 16. In the House of Commons Mr R. T. H. Fletcher (Lab) asked if the Gov-, ernment would consider sending Sir Maurice Hankey to the defence conference in New Zealand as his great knowledge and experience would render his presence invaluable. Mr Neville Chamberlain said the Government would consider it, but- the arrangements already made would probably be found satisfactory.
