* YOUNG FARMERS’ CLUB. ANNUAL MEETING. ("Times-Age” Special.) There was a good attendance of members at the annual meeting of the Young Farmers’ Club held on Tuesday night at the Oddfellows’ Hall. Mr M. Hancox presided. The Club’s thanks were expressed to Messrs N. C. D. Mason, A. F. Harding, G. Blundell, D. Ross and lan McLaren. The chairman made feeling reference to the sad death of one of their very active members, the late Mr Campbell Sievers.
Officers for the ensuing year were elected as follows: Advisory president: Mr A. F. Harding; vice-president, Mr G. Blundell; chairman, Mr D. Ross; deputy chairman, Mr M. Hancox; secretary, Mr K. Ronalds; treasurer, Mr I. Craig; committee, Messrs Wright, Rowlands, Barton, Arcus,, Martin and Teller; delegates to the District Committee, the chairman, the president and Mr Martin. Mr Blundell outlined the proposed conditions of the Campbell Sievers Memorial Cup, competition for which is to commence with attendance points at the next meeting. Personal. Mrs M. Quin has returned from a holiday in Auckland, being accompanied by Miss J. Cullen.
