DEATHS IN GREYMOUTH
THE CORONER’S VERDICT. POISONING AND SUICIDE. (By Telegraph—Press association.). GREYMOUTH, This Day. An inquest was hold today concerning the deaths on March 4 at Greymouth of Alvis Doreen Williams, a single woman, aged 23. and Frederick Jack Kitching,- a single man. aged 26.
Miss Williams was found dead in her room at the .Mayfair Flats. Kitching died at his parents' residence. The Coroper. Mr Ferner, returned a verdict that Miss Williams died of poisoning, and Hint Kitching committed suicide. Tito Coroner, reviewing the evidence, stated that. Kitching was willi the giil when she was last seen alive, shortly before her body was found. Kitching committed suicide a liti!«' laler oy the same agency which caused the girl’s death. His nossession <>i that agent suggested premeditation. A note that Kitching left connected him with the girl’s death. The evidence did not support a verdict of suicide in the case of the girl.
