March 15. All Bohemia and Moravia are now virtually- in German hands. The occupying forces are small but contacts between Czech and German troops have been courteous and correct. The German General von Gablenz has been appointed military governor. GERMANS IN SLOVAKIA. (Received This Day, 9.25 a.m.) VIENNA, March 15. It is officially announced that German troops occupied the Slovak towns of Sillein, Neustadt and Boesing after M. Durcansky appealed for help. It is also reported that Polish troops have entered Slovakia. CURFEW IN PRAGUE AVERTING DISTURBANCES. (Received This Day, 9.25 a.m.) PRAGUE, March 15. The Germans have occupied Dr Hacha’s castle. The curfew has been ordered in the city at 8 p.m. to avoid the risk of disturbances in the present mood of the Czechs. PERIOD OF GRACE SOUGHT. (Received This Day, 9.40 a.m.) BUDAPEST, March 15. M. Prchala has asked for five days for the evacuation of Czech troops.

Field Marshal Goering has issued a decree that no planes except those o'< the Reich Air Force may fly west ’of a line drawn between Bratislava andMaerischostrau. Large areas of Ger-, many are also closed to all except the Air Force. All travel in or out of Bohemia and Moravia has been forbidden indefinitely.
