NAVY LEAGUE
LADIES’ AUXILIARY. MEETING IN MASTERTON. A meeting of the committee of the Ladies’ Auxiliary of the Navy League was held in Masterton yesterday. Mrs. R. C. Drummond presided in the absence of the president. It was decided to hold the annual general meting on Tuesday, April 18, -at 2.30 p.m. A report of the conference held on February 3 in Wellington was received. The report contained Earl Beattyl’s address to the delegates, and it is hoped to include a summary of the address in the Masterton Branch's report when it is forwarded to members. Mrs O. A. Bunny’s resignation from the office of vice-president was accepted with great regret. It was decided to send a letter of appreciation to Mrs Bunny, thanking her for the work she had carried out during the years she had held office, both as president and as vice-president. Leave of absence was granted to Miss J. McLaren, who has left on a visit .to England.
The secretary reported having attended a meeting of the Pan-Pacific Locality Committee.
