BRIGHT ENTERTAINMENT
DEBUTANTES’ REVUE WELL RECEIVED. PERFORMANCES TONIGHT & TOMORROW. Another well-filled house last nighi greeted the bright and snappy “Debutantes' Revue,” which is being staged in the Opera House in aid of the Masterton Beautifying Society and the Y.M.C.A. The revue, which is attracting wide interest will be. presented again tonight and finally tomorrow night. Last night’s audience gave the talented company an excellent hearing. It was bright entertainment throughout, with several of the numbers of particular merit. Variety is the keynote of the revue, which is soundly produced and cleverly presented. The show has an appeal to all tastes and is well worthy of patronage. Amongst those who have a responsible part in the production are: Pro-ducers—-Messrs T. J. Kirk-Burnnand and F. MacCallum; musical director— Mr T. J. Kirk-Burnnand; organiser--Mr John Lawson; ballet mistress—Miss Dorothy Tate; pianist —Miss Gladys Eastwood; sketches —Mrs Peggy Mirams; stage-manager —Mr Tom Wynne; business managers —Messrs C. Kyndon and H. M. A. Major; wardrobe mistress —Mrs Maida Lawson.
