RIFLE SHOOTING
MASTERTON-OPAKI CLUB. TEAM TO MEET TARARUA. The following team has been selected to represent the Masterton-Opaki Club in a match against the Tararua Rifle Club on Saturday for the InterClub Shield: H. K. Smith, D. P. Donald, J. W. Curtin, H. H. Mawley, E. M, Wrigley, H. King, V. E. Donald, R. J. King, D. S. McKenzie, W. H. Kummer. Emergencies: W. Dornan, B. R. Jenkins, R. V. Mason. Any unable to be present should notify Mr R. J. King or the secretary immediately. On April 19, the Petone Rifle Club will visit the local club to compete in a team’s match. All Opaki members can participate in this and it is hoped that a very strong muster will be present. A competition will take place in conjunction with this match for all members not included in the team chosen against Tararua Rifle Club, commencing at 10 a.m. The second field day and final stage of the club championship will be held on April 2G, commencing at 8 a.m. sharp.
