MAURICEVILLE

MEETING OF DAIRY COMPANY DIRECTORS. (“Times-Age” Special.) A meeting of directors of the Mauriceville Dairy Co., was held yesterday, the chairman, Mr V. K. Lemberg, presiding over a full attendance. It was reported that owing to the climatic conditions having been most unfavourable for butterfat production, the output for February showed a drop of three tons compared with February last year. However, for the nine months ending February 28, the output still showed an increase of 33 tons over last year’s output. The grading, despite the hot weather, was still over 94 average. The company was advancing Is 2d per lb. for finest butterfat. The payout to suppliers for February totalled £12,029 7s 2d.
