GOLD MINING RETURNS.
Talisman Dubbo Gold Mines, Ltd., report that for the fortnight ending February 18, 175 tons of ore realised £279. Gold was valued at £7/12/- an ounce. The Okarito Five Mile Beach Gold Dredging Co., Ltd., report a wash-up of 13oz. 18dwt. for 253 hours’ dredging. A report has been received that the dredge is expected to reach solid ground in five days.
