TOUR QF HAWKE’S BAY AREA' (By Teleeraph— vress Association.) HASTINGS,' March 7. On his arrival from Palmerston North early this afternoon, the Leader of the Opposition, Mr. Hamilton, was accorded a welcome by members of the Hastings committee of the Hawke’s Bay branch of the National Party. Later he was guest visitor at the weekly luncheon of the Hastings Rotary Club. This evening, Mr Hamilton addressed members of the National Party at a special meeting in the Hawke’s Bay Farpiers’ tearooms. The object of his visit, he said, was to meet committees and members of the party. Tomorrow he will make a tour of the surrounding districts and-have an informal luncheon in Napier. Later in the day he will leave for Waipukurau, where he will meet members of the Waipawa electorate branch of the party.
