Sister Humphries has returned to Masterton from a visit to Rotorua.
Miss C. Hosking, Masterton, is staying at Plimmerton. Mrs L. R. H. Aplin, who has been on a tour of. the north, has returned to Carterton.
Mr and Mrs Hugh Symes, of Takaka, are at present staying with Mr H. E. Jackson, Kent Street, Carterton. Mr and Mrs S. L. P. Free, of Masterton, have returned from a visit to Napier, where Mr Free attended the Rotary Conference. Mrs Howard Jackson, Miss Valerie Jackson, and Miss Roydhouse, of Carterton, who have been spending a holiday at Taupo, have returned home.
Miss Mabel Jensen, of Carterton, who has been spending a month’s holiday in the Auckland district, has returned home..
Mrs R. B. McLellan, a well-known church worker in Eketahuna, was farewelled recently by the combined churches of the district. She was the recipient of many parting gifts. Mrs Dane Carrington, of Wellington, who recently returned from a trip to Australia, is staying with her -sister, Mrs L. R. H. Aplin, Tyne Street, Carterton.
