MASTERTON CLUB ANNUAL MEETING. COMING YEAR’S PROGRAMME. ■ Mr D. McGregor,-chairman, presided at the annual meeting of the Masterton Young Farmers’ Club. The annual report, which has already appeared in the “Times-Age,” was ted. The balance sheetlß fl showed a credit of £2B The election of officers resulted as follow:— President, Mr W. James; chairman, Mr J. Coom; secretary, Mr C. A. Mackay; treasurer, Mr K. McGillivray; auditor, Mr R. H. Williams; executive committee, Messrs J. S. Mackay, G. Blatchford and D. McGregor; club reporters, Messrs H. S. Bannister and A. Cruickshank; supper steward, Mr J. H. Wright. On the motion of Mr McGregor, seconded by Mr K. Donovan, it was decided that Mr W. F. McLaren be electee! a life member of the club in recognition of his services to the movement in general and to the club in particular. The outgoing executive was accorded a hearty vote of thanks for its services during the past year. An outline of the coming year’s programme was given by Mr N. Lamont. This included the showing of a film on the breeding of animals, a tour of the South Island by members of the club, a camp either in Hastings or Wanganui and a talk by Mr Bruce Levy, of the Plant Research Station. Members were reminded that all subscriptions were now due. Supper was served at the conclusion of business. _
