First prize of £2006 in the "Pleasant Surprise" art union, drawn last night in Wellington, went to an Auckland ticketholder. The second prize was won by a Shannon purchaser, the third went to Raetihi, the fourth to Greymouth, and the fifth to Palmerston North. Only one £lO prize came to.; Wellington. The prize-list is as follows: — First Prize—-£2000: 118643, "Round Up—Orate" (Auckland butt). Second Prize—£soo: 12771, "Change of Luck," Shannon. Third Prize —£200: 193087. "Blondie and Darkie.” Raetihi." Fourth Prize—loo: 56538. "Red Flag," Preston Road. Greymouth. ' Fifth Prize — £75: 62879.
